Word Count update

In my book, Return to the Abyss I have 63,000 words down, with another 60,000 easily on the way.

The Voiceless

The Voiceless, is the worst enemy in my series so far. He is unable to die and can beat anything that faces him.

He is unleashed from the Underworld after the city of Oxford beat back the Underworld invasion, to destroy Ben Anderson and his friends...and his dragon.


The Voiceless was once a powerful, Religious order. They had hundreds of their priests across the world. Not only were they powerful, but they were also said to be invincible.
But that soon changed when the Church of the Striders became the more popular religion.
Then only one monk was left alive after the Striders themselves killed them off.
That monk that was left, took the name of the Religion as his own, and decided to destroy everyone he could as payment.

Re-writing Book #1 The Fifth Wizard

After finishing The Fifth Wizard almost a year ago, I wanted to re-write it for a few reasons.
It's still the same plot, but it's worded better. And I might have to add some good stuff in it.

Then i came across Nano, and I am writing that for the 50K word challenge.

Indomitable

The Indomitable are a tribe of immortal warriors who protect the Nef Caves (the one place Ben needs to go) They are extremely tough and can't be beat...but they aren't the ones to worry about, The Underlord has something else planned.

Thelzad's Kingdom

The time had come to strike back. Ever since Thelzad Captured Alexandria, Ben had had it hard.
He and his friends are on the expedition in the Abyss Lands, and thelzad it making it hard of them. He has recently sent The Hunters (a dangerous group of assassins, never failing their mission) And the assassin Sorin.
But Ben has finally made it to Thelzads kingdom, and stolen the dagger of the Blood Fist.

While Ben is busy, Yoba Kiproc has added a vast amount of flammable liquid to the kingdoms water supply, and set fire to the buildings. The frantic orc villagers try to put out the fire with the river water, only to have it burn even more.

Ben and his friends make their escape, two daggers remain.

A vision into the future.

After Ben gets back to Delphic, he has a vision. Rain was falling hard. It was late, dark and cold. Ben was sitting on a chair, biting his fingernails in worry. He looked about twenty-five now, he was about the same height, his hair had thinned out a little, but not a lot. His shoulders were a little thicker. He wore a dark blue hat, that rose about a foot above his head, his robe was dark blue as well, covering his entire body. His Wizard Staff was leaning next to him. Lexie was sitting in the chair next to him. Her outfit was almost identical to his, her hair was a little longer, that was the only change. Casaly looked out from the closed door. "Any sign of Yoba?" She asked "Nothing yet, is Caroline okay?" Ben asked, standing upright. "Well," Casaly walked closer to him, letting the door close behind her. "She will be giving birth very soon, but she is very weak," "Will she make it?" He asked "I am doing everything I can, physically and magically, but I don't know," The front door was thrashed open. Yoba walked through, dripping wet. "Is she okay?" He asked "She wants to see you, I'll take you in," Casaly said, leading him into the other room, through the door.

Valli the Rune Wizardess

Yoba's older twin sister, is a powerful Rune wizardess. She is able to slay several orc enemies with one quick spell. She has happily joined Yoba's quest. But things back in Encorean are getting bad again. The Lydian Empire is growing in strength, and Ben must go back and help his kingdom, but the Quest continues.

The Second Step Towards Fate

Thelzad's plans to turn Ben over to his side, is almost complete. The essence of Kuroda remains, but where? No one knows how or why, but Kuroda and Thelzad are doing something far darker then anything ever done before, and Ben is part of it.

Family Truth

Ben recently found out, that Xxor (King of the Strider's, and his so called father) murdered his mother and father, then told Ben and his three siblings that HE was their father.

The path to the ways of Thelzad, has begun for Ben Anderson.

Assassin from the Dark

Along with every other hardship Yoba and his group face, Thelzad sends an assassin to capture them. This assassin is the best (or worst, depends on how you look at it) in the Abyss Lands and Encorean.

Even though wounded by the attack, Ben and a few knights, go looking for his captured friends, only to find a 'dead' immortal.

With the job unfinished, the assassin goes after Ben.

Will the assassin destroy Ben and his friends? or fail this 'simple' task? The life of our hero's lie in the paws of a friendly wolf.

The Heart of The Enemy

After finding one of three objects in the Blood Fist, Yoba and his band of friends are captured by a Rebellion. After questioning, they are let go. But Yoba learns more about his uncovered past: his sister Valli.
Kuroda told Yoba to many lies, that he doesn't know what is true or not. But magical DNA test show that the two of them are related by blood.

Yoba and Valli are eager to catch up and get to know each other, but will this new bond destroy their hope of defeating Thelzad? Or will Thelzad defeat them by turning Ben to his side?

After Alexandria had gone away on a training mission eighteen months ago, Ben begins to worry about her. What happened to his friend? is she alright? Only Thelzad can answer that question, and he isn't talking.

Welcome to the Abyss

The Abyss Lands are a dangerous place, unlike Encorean, the Abyss Lands have hundreds of magic users, but are they true mages? or is it all a hoax?

Now the King of Delphic, Ben Anderson funds and expedition, to gain allies in other countries. He sends Casaly Eaglefeather, Yoba Kiproc, Melkaz Woods, Lexie Williams, and his younger sister Caroline to the Abyss Lands, on a diplomatic mission. There, they gain news of their old enemy, Thelzad Anderson. He is hiding out somewhere in the Abyss, gain strength in Blood Magic, (a form of magic, stronger then black, or dark magic)

They contact Ben, and ask him what to do. But before they can kill him, they learn of his Blood Fist. A Blood Fist contains three objects, each with sentimental value. Without these three objects, Thelzad is immortal.
